Talent Acquisition Specialist

Lifelong Access is seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us recruit exceptional employees who are passionate about making a difference. As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle while helping create an outstanding candidate experience and supporting the continued growth of our organization.
What You'll Do

  • Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and community outreach.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate the interview process.
  • Prepare employment offers and coordinate pre-employment background checks.
  • Maintain candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring processes.
  • Represent Lifelong Access at job fairs, career events, and community recruiting activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates for current and future employment opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies throughout the hiring process.
What We're Looking For
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
Experience
  • Two to five years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting in healthcare, human services, nonprofit organizations, or high-volume environments is a plus.
Skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid Illinois driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Current proof of automobile insurance.
  • Ability to travel locally to recruiting events and Lifelong Access locations as needed.

Pay:                $31.25/hour
