Position Summary:
Responsible for developing and maintaining strategic talent pipelines that support current and future
workforce needs across the organization. This position serves as a key representative of the company in
external recruiting efforts, including career fairs, workforce events, and educational partnerships, while
collaborating closely with Marketing, Human Resources, and operational leaders to support broader talent
attraction initiatives. Administrative hiring functions such as job postings, interview scheduling, and
onboarding remain under the direction of Human Resources.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with high schools, technical schools, colleges, universities, workforce development organizations, and community partners to support talent pipeline initiatives.
- Represent the company at career fairs, recruiting events, trade expos, school presentations, and workforcerelated community events.
- Coordinate and support recruiting outreach activities including campus visits, facility tours, classroom presentations, and informational sessions.
- Partner with internal department leaders to understand workforce needs and identify strategic opportunities for talent pipeline development.
- Support internship, apprenticeship, and early-career workforce initiatives designed to attract future talent to the organization.
- Enhance employer brand messaging and recruiting communications that reflect company culture and career opportunities.
- Assist in identifying effective sourcing channels and community partnerships that align with hiring priorities and long-term workforce needs.
- Build and maintain communication with prospective candidates and external contacts to strengthen future recruiting opportunities.
- Work in coordination with Human Resources to ensure recruiting outreach aligns with active hiring priorities and organizational needs.
- Track recruiting outreach efforts, partnerships, and event participation to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Support additional talent development and workforce engagement initiatives as assigned.
Additional Job-Related Duties:
- Comply with federal and state law, regulations, and all Company rules.
- Participate in online and in-person training and other educational opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Any other job-related activities requested by immediate supervisor.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, workforce development, community relations, talent outreach, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience coordinating events, building partnerships, or supporting talent attraction initiatives preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires long hours sitting and using office equipment, including telephones and computers and may also require some light lifting of files and materials and carrying checks, mail, and other documentation to different departments from time to time.
- The position may also involve some repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and elbows.
Working Conditions:
- This position is normally performed in an office work environment, which does not subject the employee to the elements. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
- This position may require a flexible schedule and periodic overtime as needed.
