Talent Acquisition Specialist

Driven by a passion for talent acquisition, you will serve as the operational engine behind our hiring process, finding and attracting top-tier talent while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience. 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll work with People Partners, Hiring Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to:

• Execute the full-cycle recruitment process in alignment with Vendasta’s Hiring Framework.
• Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and niche platforms.
• Maintain and grow a talent pipeline for both current and future hiring needs.
• Drive candidate equity and fairness in line with Vendasta’s inclusive hiring principles.
• Conduct due diligence including references, background checks, and legal compliance checks.
• Represent Vendasta’s unique value proposition confidently by understanding our platform, culture, and mission.
  
• Represent Vendasta at career fairs, networking events, and community engagement opportunities.
• Contribute to a world-class candidate experience through timely communication, hospitality, and feedback.
• Support pre-boarding efforts to promote early engagement and a seamless new hire transition.
  
• Stay informed on SaaS industry hiring trends, labor law updates, and recruitment best practices.
  
• Use Vendasta-approved AI tools and workflows to improve sourcing, screening, and scheduling efficiency.
• Track and interpret hiring KPIs to adjust sourcing and engagement tactics accordingly.
  

You bring

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills,
• A proven ability to build trust quickly with stakeholders and candidates.
• Familiarity with SaaS industry roles (especially technical positions) is an asset
