About the Role

This is a newly created opportunity in our HR team, seeking Talent Acquisition Specialist – APAC to delivery end-to-end recruitment and serves as a trusted in‑house talent partner. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, this hybrid role can be based in either our Melbourne or Sydney office.

You will be:

  • Managing full life‑cycle recruitment for support and technical roles, such as Geospatial Engineers (Surveyors), Spatial Data Specialists, Software Engineers, Architects, and other mission‑critical positions.
  • Coordinating and conducting structured phone/ video screening and interviews while providing guidance to interview panels.
  • Acting as a trusted recruitment advisor, providing market insights, salary benchmarking, and hiring recommendations.
  • Maintaining all recruitment activities within Greenhouse Talent Management/ATS, including requisitions, approvals, interview kits, scorecards, offers, and reporting.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruitment (preferably in‑house environment)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end‑to‑end in‑house recruitment.
  • Experience using Recruitment or Talent management systems (Woolpert uses Greenhouse)
  • Proven experience recruiting technical and hard-to-fill roles.

With this role, the successful candidate must successfully pass pre-employment National Police Background Check and the ability to maintain it.

Desirable experience:

  • Experience recruiting within geospatial, engineering, infrastructure, or other mission‑critical industries.
  • Formal training in structured interviewing, technical assessment, or inclusive hiring practices.
  • Exposure to workforce planning, capability mapping, or strategic talent pipeline development.
