We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles, with a strong preference for experience with defence or aviation domains.

This role requires a strategic, hands-on recruiter who can attract high-quality talent, build strong pipelines, and partner effectively with hiring managers to deliver operational excellence and a best in-class candidate experience.

This role will be initially hired as a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, parental leave cover.

Description

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.

  • Manage hiring across technical, operational, and corporate functions.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leaders across business capabilities, as well as with HR Business Partners.

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.

  • Ensure candidates receive a professional, transparent, and engaging experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation, automation, and talent acquisition efficiency.

  • Advocate employer branding through career events, social media initiatives, and other talent attraction activities.

  • Support recruitment delivery aligned with organisational priorities, compliance requirements, and workforce planning.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–6 years of hands-on Talent Acquisition experience, preferably within mid-to-large organisations.

  • Proven end-to-end (360) recruitment experience across multiple functions, including technical, corporate, operational, and support roles.

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems; proficiency with Workday is preferred.

  • Strong stakeholder management and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with hiring managers and HR partners.

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with office located in Homebush, NSW.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and candidate engagement skills.

  • Ability to undertake occasional national and international travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Talent Acquisition experience within aviation and/or defence sectors.

  • Experience recruiting across APAC or other international regions.

  • Experience using additional ATS platforms beyond Workday.

  • Combination of agency and in-house Talent Acquisition experience
