The Opportunity

Acting as the go-to Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own the recruitment function within NEPEAN. Advise, shape and execute headhunting, interviewing and onboarding processes for new employees. Work closely with the HR Manager to shape the recruitment strategy for both local and international hiring, ensuring smooth and effective processes. In addition, this position may assist with HR tasks as required.

What you’ll do:

·       Provide end-to-end recruitment support including sourcing, screening, interviewing, conducting checks and negotiating offers.

·       Manage all onboarding activities from contract creation to site inductions, ensuring new employees have what they need for a smooth start.

·       Maintain candidate pipelines and proactively engage with external providers and immigration agents for overseas recruitment and VISA processes.

·       Assist in the rollout of initiatives that strengthen NEPEAN’s EVP and enhance employee engagement.

·       Contribute to HR Projects such as the rollout of our new Dayforce HRIS, EVP development, onboarding standardisation and the creation of candidate sourcing pools.

·       Travel occasionally to NEPEAN sites across Australia.

This position can be based from any of our Western Sydney offices - Prestons, Ingleburn or Yagoona.

About You

Ideally, you will possess:

·       Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment. Agency experience would be beneficial.

·       The ability to manage our diverse recruitment needs (blue collar & white collar, local & international, skilled & unskilled).

·       Degree or similar qualifications in HR, Law, Business or similar would be highly advantageous.

·       Knowledge of the Australian VISA system and overseas recruitment practices would be beneficial.

·       An interest in learning more about HR Generalist duties and other HR practises outside of recruitment.

·       Confident advisor with strong influencing skills and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.

·       Passionate about wellbeing and fostering positive workplace culture.
