SUMMARY

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist’s responsibilities include sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews for, and hiring candidates for HBK and our family of companies. To be successful in this role, you will need to develop trusted relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike. The ultimate goal is to identify and hire the best people in our industry, under the management and mentorship of our Talent Acquisition Manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Seeking an individual committed to a career in recruiting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically related to phone etiquette.
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and within a team environment.
  • Capacity to effectively manage and prioritize projects and tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Capable of interacting with all levels of external and internal professionals while developing strong trusted relationships.
  • Solid organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases (Indeed, Handshake, etc.) and professional networks (LinkedIn).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with hiring managers to identify needs, gain an understanding of those needs, and go through the appropriate approval processes.
  • Accurately post job requisitions in our Applicants Tracking System (ATS). Create job descriptions when needed.
  • Proactively source, utilizing multiple platforms, to identify candidate(s) that fit the positional requirements.
  • Phone screen each candidate and submit qualified candidates to the respective hiring manager.
  • Coordinate all interviews via MS Outlook Calendar (virtual via Teams and In-person).
  • Conduct interview follow-up with each candidate and hiring manager.
  • Gain compensation approval for each role, advising and offering recommendations on market trends when needed.
  • Present and negotiate offers, delivering full benefits offering for consideration.
  • Obtain and accurately insert new hire details into Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Full-cycle recruiting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key executive search firms.
  • Work with the human resources team to align priorities and keep the team updated on activities.
  • Work with the marketing department to align recruitment message and marketing materials.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events, as needed in collaboration with Campus Recruiting Lead
