The Talent Acquisition Specialist acts as an ambassador to Amada employees and prospective employees, providing information and support services at all stages of the employee’s life cycle: recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and transition.
Essential Functions:Â
- Lead entire recruitment process from start to finish.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies.
- Create comprehensive interview plans.
- Pre-screen and present qualified candidates for consideration.
- Administer entire lifecycle of recruiting process including job postings, screening, scheduling, interviewing and offers of employment.
- Collaborate with Department Management to determine staffing needs and hiring strategy.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies.
- Develop and execute new staffing plans.
- Process pre-employment screening.
- Conduct employee onboarding and orientation.
- Maintain an ongoing pipeline of candidates.
- Contribute to initiatives that promote a positive company culture.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies.
- Serve as main point of contact for various recruiting sources, such as Indeed, GlassDoor.
- Manage online presence to potential candidates
- Perform exit interviews.
Non-Essential Functions:Â
- Â Â Prepare special reports, as needed.
- Â Â Maintain Applicant Tracking System.
- Â Â Head up annual Affirmative Action Plan reporting.
- Â Â Attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Â Â Assist in miscellaneous duties within the HR department.
Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000
Location: Brea, CA
Work Schedule: Fully onsite, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Knowledge/Skills:Â
- Â Â Familiar with UltiPro/UKG payroll/applicant tracking system
- Â Â Strong understanding of recruiting techniques and best practices, including career sourcing and pipeline management.
- Â Â Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Â Â Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Â Â Detail-oriented
- Â Â Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Â Â Attention to visual design and user experienceÂ
- Â Â Ability to maintain confidential information
Education:
-  Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Â Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in recruiting, with a proven track record of successful hires.
- Â SHRM or HRCI certification desired.
