POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures that the company recruits and selects the best and brightest talent to FCL by executing against our people and business strategic plans. This role leverages best practices and partners with company leadership to identify talent that furthers our vision and employee centric culture. The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the execution of human resources related programs including recruitment, onboarding and orientation.Â
 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 HIRING AND STAFFING
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to develop staffing plan and strategy and recommend methods to meet staffing objectives for business needs.
- Source candidates through networking, job fairs, employee referrals, industry resources, recruiting partners, and job boards.
- Recruit and hire new team members with appropriate skills, experience, traits and competencies by following FCL’s hiring and interview best practices.
- Consistently use the tools and follow best practices in our hiring and interview toolkit; offering feedback and suggestions to improve tools and processes
- Coordinate and complete offer letters and make salary recommendations considering competitive market rates and equity.
- Ensure all communications, including job postings, offer letters, and candidate correspondence are accurate and professional.
- Represent the company brand and culture in every interaction—professional, responsive, and authentic.
- Provide timely and transparent communication throughout the hiring process, ensuring candidates feel respected and informed.
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiting partners to ensure interviews are well-organized, inclusive, and reflective of the company’s values and culture.
- Follow up after interviews and maintain relationships that enhance the company’s reputation as an employer of choice.
- Consistently follow all recruiting and onboarding workflows, documentation standards, and approval steps as outlined in company policy and the applicant tracking system (ATS).

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

REQUIRED:
- BS/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related work experience.
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible Talent Acquisition or Human Resources Generalist experience with recruiting focus.Â
- Strong knowledge of ATS systems, sourcing strategies, and employer branding techniques.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leaders.Â
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Must be proactive, able to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed deadlines and commitments.
- Strong attention to detail

PREFERRED:
- Previous HR experience in commercial construction or commercial real estate.
- Previous experience within a multi-state, multi-site organization.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Work at a desk or computer screen with keyboard for extended periods of time
