Position Summary   The Talent Acquisition Specialist is expected to make a high-impact contribution to the HR department in supporting all VPNE locations with recruiting, staffing and onboarding. VPNE Talent Acquisition encompasses the activities involved in building and maintaining a competent workforce.  Responsibilities    Recruiting:  Follow VPNE recruiting process: review new applications, conduct phone screens, schedule for interviews and driving tests, extend job offers and schedule for orientation.  Understand and share value in VPNE recruiting process. Adapt to changing processes and think strategically to improve processes.  Meet recruiting goals based on metrics.  Use prioritization techniques for contacting applicants.  Maintain a high level of productivity and utilize productivity reports to review.  Support operations by advocating for hiring managers and their staffing needs.  Communicate with hiring managers to share updates and expectations.  Fill positions based on business needs. Communicate priorities with team members, managers, and using location knowledge. Reprioritize as needed  Retention:  Improve the quality of hire through varied methods including behavioral interview techniques.  Find and suggest new ways to improve the quality of hire.  Administration:  Utilize and maintain complete expertise in Applicant Tracking System to support effective and efficient approaches to sourcing, recruiting, evaluating and selecting candidates.  Training and Onboarding:  Train & mentor HR team members on VPNE recruiting process.  Learn and perform VPNE new hire orientation (paperwork and presentation).  Perform all other onboarding tasks (paperwork, background checks).  Understand work authorization requirements and labor laws as they apply to staff.  Update and train hiring managers on VPNE recruiting process.  Company & Human Resources Knowledge:  Maintain a working knowledge of VPNE healthcare, 401k and other VPNE benefits for employees.  Handle non-recruiting requests in a timely manner and route inbound phone calls to the appropriate parties.  Support HR department initiatives and goals.  Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality within the company’s best interest.  Additional tasks as requested by manager    Qualifications    Years of Experience: At least 1 year of professional work experience.  Language Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and written  Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, HR or a related major    Requirements:   Must be at least 18 years old  Strong aptitude for learning software, experience with iCIMS and DayForce a plus  Ability to organize and prioritize tasks  Must be proactive, positive, and responsive with a genuine interest in the Human Resources function  Great organizational and communication skills  Impeccable customer service skills with a proven track record in problem-solving  Ability to work both independently and on a team  Ability to multitask and work under pressure      #VPNE350
