Position Summary

GCON is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives in a highly supportive and collaborative team environment, driving growth through delivering exceptional full-cycle recruitment across operational and corporate hiring needs. This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, has strong sourcing expertise, and partners confidently with hiring leaders to deliver top talent. This position is to be performed on site in our North Phoenix office with the potential for hybrid flexibility.

What You�ll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple requisitions (intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding handoff)
  • Build talent pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, trade networks, referrals, job boards, and targeted outreach
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and support strong hiring decisions
  • Maintain accurate ATS documentation and compliant recruiting activity
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience with strong communication and follow-through
  • Track recruiting metrics and contribute to improving recruiting processes and performance

What You�ll Bring

  • Bachelor�s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field OR equivalent recruiting experience
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience (corporate and/or agency)
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume recruiting while maintaining quality
  • Strong sourcing skills and comfort using recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, job boards, resume databases)
  • Confidence partnering with leaders and influencing hiring decisions
  • A commitment to professionalism, candidate care, and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency recruiting experience (high-volume recruiting strongly preferred)
  • Experience recruiting in construction, industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or skilled trades environments
  • Familiarity hiring for roles such as:
    • Superintendents, Foremen, Project Engineers
    • Project Managers, Estimators, Safety Professionals
    • Skilled Trades, Field Leadership, Operations Support
  • Experience using recruiting metrics to drive performance and improvement

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
