Talent Acquisition Specialist ​

MTU Maintenance Fort Worth Inc., a leading aircraft maintenance and repair organization, is seeking an enthusiastic Entry‑Level Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin their career in recruitment—especially those with an interest in the Aviation or Aerospace industry.

In this position, you will support the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, communicating with applicants, and assisting with onboarding activities. You will help ensure a smooth and positive hiring experience while learning and growing within a fast‑paced HR environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Attracting Candidates:

  • Identifying candidates through various sources, including online job boards, social media, professional networks, internal referrals, etc.
  • Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Creating/posting job descriptions.

Candidate Screening/Assessment:

  • Reviewing applicant (s) resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conducting initial phone screenings/ interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and requirements for each role.

Interview Process Management:

  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews between hiring managers and candidates.
  • Assisting with the interview process, including developing interview questions and evaluating candidates.
  • Providing feedback to candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.

Other Duties:

  • Ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintaining accurate records of candidates and hiring data.
  • Participating in job fairs and other recruitment events.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Able to work independently & as part of a team
  • Able to communicate & negotiate clearly in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, applicants, and other stakeholders, when applicable

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  •   High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  •   No previous recruiting or HR experience required.
  •   Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with candidates and hiring teams.
  •   Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  •   Willingness to learn applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting processes, and HR procedures.
  •   Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace (Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Docs/Sheets, etc.).
  •   Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing an excellent candidate experience.
