Position Summary
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) to partner with hiring managers and company leadership to identify staffing needs and attract top talent. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
This position is based in Chattanooga, TN and will support recruiting efforts for Trident. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and passionate about creating an exceptional candidate experience while building a strong talent pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement and execute recruiting strategies, including job postings, sourcing initiatives, and interview coordination while following HR best practices.
• Source and proactively identify high-quality talent through targeted outreach efforts such as LinkedIn, social media platforms, job boards, employee referrals, campus recruiting, and other channels.
• Review resumes and applications, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates using appropriate selection methods.
• Assess candidates’ skills, experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the organization.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process.
• Develop a thorough understanding of open positions, including responsibilities, qualifications, and team dynamics.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify candidate requirements, hiring priorities, and role expectations.
• Monitor labor market trends and identify opportunities to improve recruiting effectiveness.
• Promote Trident Transport’s culture and employer brand by providing an exceptional candidate experience.
• Support onboarding efforts to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the organization.
• Assist the People Team with employee engagement initiatives and office activities.
