Description
CERTEX USA is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team in either Houston, TX or Phoenix, AZ. This is a 100% physically on-site/in office role. This role will focus not only on sourcing and recruiting top talent across the entire organization but also play a critical role in supporting a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage external vendors and partners involved in recruiting and onboarding, ensuring high-quality service delivery and alignment with our talent strategy. Bilingual fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred, as this role will often engage with Spanish-speaking candidates and partners.
Requirements
Talent Acquisition:
- Brand ambassador throughout the applicant's journey and deliver a positive candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates across various functions and levels.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting through offer negotiation.
- Maintain candidate pipelines for critical roles and proactively identify future hiring needs.
- Leverage job boards, social media, and other tools to attract top talent.
Onboarding Support:
- Coordinate onboarding activities in collaboration with HR, IT, and department managers.
- Ensure all onboarding tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner, including documentation, background checks, equipment setup, and orientation scheduling.
- Act as a point of contact for new hires to ensure a smooth transition and a positive onboarding experience.
- Monitor and continuously improve the onboarding process to enhance new hire engagement and retention.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with third-party staffing agencies, background check providers, onboarding platforms, and other recruitment-related vendors.
- Negotiate vendor contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws.
- Evaluate vendor performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Track vendor invoices and ensure timely processing in collaboration with Accounting.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and onboarding systems.
- Provide reports and metrics on recruitment and onboarding KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with EEO, OFCCP, and other applicable employment regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload with shifting priorities
- Ability to take initiative, follow through, and maintain confidentiality
- Solid analytical, decision-making, and organizational capabilities
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage candidates effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to negotiate offers effectively while ensuring a positive candidate experience
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field
- 3 years relevant HR and recruiting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting and employment best practices
- Proficiency with ATS software (Paylocity preferred) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple open roles and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay Range - $65,000 - 70,000 per year
