Avid4 Adventure is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to interview, hire and onboard our summer camp program staff. Avid4 Adventure teaches kids to lead active, outdoor lives through day camps, resident camps, expedition camps, and events that engage kids in outdoor adventure activities. In this role you will
Conduct applicant screening, interviews and extend offers to candidates.
Act as the main point of contact by e-mail for new staff questions during the pre-employment process.
Work as a team to move Talent Acquisition’s justice, equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives forward.
Assist with the testing and implementation of any technology systems needed for interviewing, pipeline management and onboarding.
Attend hiring events (in-person or virtual), as directed by Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition.
Collaborate with Avid's field management team to ensure staff have correct expectations and excitement prior to their start date.
Assist in postings jobs to internal and external job boards
Assist with communications development to include social media and email campaigns.
Personal and Professional Qualifications
1+ season of experience working with Avid4 Adventure in any position is highly preferred
Experience hiring for, or working in, the outdoor education field. Knowledge surrounding paddling, mountain biking, advanced rock climbing, aftercare programming, and/or residential camp operations is preferred
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and excellent interpersonal skills
Technical aptitude to navigate multiple technology platforms for your position and have the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with candidates
Additional Details
This is a full-time, seasonal position from January - late May/ Late June. Candidates seeking a part-time position will also be considered based on
Hourly rate in Colorado starts at $18.90/hour. Base rates in other locations will be adjusted based on cost of living and equity
