Position Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with recruiters and business leaders to identify, engage and successful recruit talent. This position will use research tools like LinkedIn (including LinkedIn Recruiter), Microsoft Teams Info, company applicant tracking system, external job boards, and other research tools. This role involves in-depth research, networking, and fostering relationships to connect and pipeline potential candidates. The ideal candidate possesses a sharp talent-spotting ability, outstanding communication prowess, and a proactive mindset towards talent acquisition.Key Responsibilities
Develop talent pipelines and sourcing for roles at all levels across all departments.
Participate in talent strategy meetings to understand hiring needs and trends.
Prescreen candidates’ profiles along with building an active/passive candidate pool.
Maintain contact with future potential passive candidates to grow the candidate pipeline.
Recommend and execute sourcing strategies using a variety of sourcing channels.
Conduct thorough market research to map out competitive landscape, potential talent pools, and refine sourcing strategies.
Maintain current leading-edge knowledge of external sourcing options (job sites, professional recruiting sites, etc.).
Provide periodic reports of activity as applicable.

Position Requirements
2+ years’ experience in talent acquisition/recruiting.
Experience in construction, real estate, architecture or engineering preferred but not required.
Hands-on knowledge in Passive Sourcing techniques, market trends, combing the Internet for target companies/candidates' information, etc.
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or relevant topics.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
High level of organization
Proactive and self-motivated.
Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
This position can be in person or remote within a 1-hour commute of our Indianapolis office.
