In this role you will heavily with excel and outlook. This role requires managing weekly reports and partnering with our BSS leaders in keeping our employees electronic files compliant. This role requires heavy customer service skills and communicates with system employees via text, email and phone calls, reminding employees of coming due actions. This role also does projects from time to time, which could entail cross over to our preboarding teams.  

This role is remote after onsite training in Mesa with a Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day, between the times of 7am-6pm schedule.

Registry/Per Diem positions do not have guaranteed hours and no medical benefits package is offered. Completion of post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment, drug screen and background check (includes employment, criminal and education) is required.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides compliance support to Banner Health’s team members, which includes maintaining active employee files to monitor and collect items needed to keep employee files compliant.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Provides administrative and customer service services in assigned area. This may include performing business support functions and related administrative tasks to support a program, process and BSS/Corporate leadership within Banner Staffing Services and/or Corporate.

2. Reviews and/or audits documents & employee files, for compliance to the employee’s minimum qualifications and/or skills policy for their specific job description. This could include but not limited to checking BLC’s, certifications, licensures, resumes, background checks, occupational health compliance, CAPS/ACED paperwork etc.


3. Audits and maintains appropriate systems with correct expirations dates, uploading required documents etc., to keep employee compliant and Banner Health free of risk

 

4. Corresponds with employees and leadership using defined formats and procedures, via verbal, electronic and written communications.

5. Running reports on a weekly/monthly cadence to ensure coming due items are addressed in a timely manner with employees and leaders.

6. May complete or handle recurring department projects or one-time projects, as directed by supervisor, to meet the needs of the business. This could include common month reporting and additional communication to employees via verbal, electronic and written communications.

7. Works independently under general supervision, as an extension of the Leader(s) to keep employees compliant and working.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Requires a high school diploma or equivalent education and two or more years administrative work experience in a related area.


Works independently under general supervision. Represents the company as a primary point of contact to outside entities such as insurance claimants, patients, service providers, community agencies, vendors, etc. Must have the ability to follow oral and written directions as they relate to the functions listed above. Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with departmental personnel, assist customers with inquiries, schedule meetings and appointments, as well as, provide assistance with incoming telephone calls and walk-ins. Requires the ability to work effectively with common office software, including spreadsheets and word processing. Must have the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task workload in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional manner.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
