In this position, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of great candidates for our growing company. You will deliver a premium candidate experience from initial screening through hire. This is a multifaceted job that requires both outstanding organizational skills and the ability to understand, promote, and develop the core culture of the company. Talent acquisition activities will include sourcing candidates from a variety of platforms, managing online postings, and helping to develop high impact recruiting strategies. You will work collaboratively with our HR Business Partners as well as leadership teams in each of our plant locations. This role will travel to each of our nine US locations on occasion to meet with key stakeholders and understand the business needs.

The ideal candidate is extremely organized, has a sense of urgency for our business needs, is a partner with our internal hiring managers and has a passionate for building great teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains and constantly improves our Recruitment Process by thoroughly understanding the organization’s requirements.
  • Partners with the respective HR Business Partners and/or hiring managers to ascertain job descriptions, qualifications needed, and departmental needs.
  • Places Job Ads and posts worded to attract as many applicants as possible, while maintain communication with the hiring managers.
  • Partners with marketing to place and create ads on the appropriate media source to ensure a high response rate while using tracking metrics.
  • Runs full Interview cycle and assessments as needed.
  • Acts as the expert interviewer and develop a series of assessment exercises to arrive at a shortlist of viable candidates.
  • Conducts and evaluates background and reference checks as designed by our process.
  • Communicates with Applicants to carefully and maintain a reputation of openness and professionalism in the marketplace to ensure we attract the best candidates.
  • Maintains close contact with each candidate to ensure they are kept up to date at every point in the recruitment process.
  • Consults with Hiring Managers to Select Candidates on a timely basis.
  • Manages the company ATS system as well as other system integrations.
  • Uses Social Media Platforms to increase branding and candidate pipeline.
  • Uses and maximizes our internal systems to ensure all information/data is correct and compliant.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Five (5) plus years’ experience in recruitment, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert knowledge of recruitment practices, assessments, and evaluations
  • Thorough knowledge of applicant tracking systems
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Humble and Hungry to work
  • Recognize talent roadblocks and offer solutions.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 20 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to bend, stand, climb, twist and stoop for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform sedentary work including sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Have good vision of 20/30 with corrective lenses.
  • Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision.
  • Travel as needed to accomplish desired results. Overnight travel may be required occasionally.

Subject to environmental conditions that occur indoors and outdoors which includes but is not limited to exposure to changing temperatures, loud noises, vibration from use of equipment and the following:

  • Hazards: Variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
  • Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin – fumes, odors, dust, mist, gases or poor ventilation.
  • Oils: there is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
