Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for Service roles within the insurance industry, with the opportunity to support producer-level hiring
  • Design and execute innovative, outside-the-box sourcing strategies that go beyond job boards.
  • Develop and maintain a robust candidate pipeline, using pipeline data to understand sourcing-to-hire conversion rates and continuously optimize the recruiting machine
  • Use data and recruiting metrics to drive smarter hiring decisions and share insights with leadership
  • Partner with leaders to proactively scope roles, build hiring profiles, and ensure alignment before a search begins
  • Lead the rebuild of our employer brand β€” telling a compelling recruitment story that speaks to who we are, what we stand for, and why this is a place where careers are built
  • Champion our ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) as a powerful differentiator in the marketplace β€” educating candidates on the true value of employee ownership
  • Build and execute a college recruiting program, including campus relationships, internship-to-hire pipelines, and early talent strategies
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to leaders throughout the organization on all things talent
  • Train and coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices, behavioral-based questioning, and how to assess for the right cultural and skill fit
  • Drive consistency and excellence in the hiring process through education, tools, and accountability
  • Oversee and develop the internship program from structure to experience to conversion
  • Build and own a robust, intentional onboarding process that serves as the thread through an employee's first 90 days - ensuring every new hire feels seen, supported, and set up to succeed
  • Act as an HR partner to leaders on people-related topics, proactively surfacing solutions to process gaps and employee experience opportunities

Requirements


  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, ideally within a services-based or relationship-driven industry
  • Proven track record of sourcing and securing top talent through creative, multi-channel strategies
  • Experience with employer branding, recruitment marketing, or talent storytelling β€” or a strong desire and vision to build it
  • Proficiency using Paylocity or a comparable ATS to track pipelines, manage Β Β Β Β Β candidate workflows, measure effectiveness, and make informed decisions
  • Experience with or exposure Β to onboarding program development and early employee experience design
  • Background in HR generalist or HR business partner functions is a plus
  • Insurance industry experience is not required but a nice to have
Salary Description
$80,000 - $98,800
