About the role

You will play a pivotal role in shaping talent acquisition processes and initiatives and collaborating with hiring managers to develop innovative strategies for attracting top talent and optimising sourcing channels for our Digital business.  A true talent partner you will ensure exceptional candidate care and playing a part in advancing the organisations Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) goals in alignment with its overarching strategic objectives. Given the Digital business is our biggest portfolio you will partner with another Talent Acquisition Partner, to ensure we attract and retain the most qualified individuals across our digital remit. The Digital Division enables the delivery of AEMO’s obligations through technology and improves outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders. This role is a 9 month fixed-term contract backfilling for parental leave.

 

 

What you will be doing

  • In partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, you will lead the development of comprehensive attraction strategies and campaigns to enhance AEMO’s brand and attract top talent.
  • Manage all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, this will include candidate sourcing, phone screening, interviewing, coordinating the candidate process and managing the offer stage whilst ensuring excellent candidate care.
  • Build an understanding of talent in competitor companies and provide benchmarking/competitor analysis for strategic advantage.
  • Proactively build technical external talent pools for your client groups.
  • Ensure talent acquisition strategies are aligned with AEMO’s DEI objectives and support the development and implementation of initiatives to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the recruitment process.

 

What you will bring to the role

  • A wealth of experience working within inhouse and/or agency, within a digital / technology recruitment role.  Demonstrated technical expertise in Digital recruitment is essential to understand and address our complex requirements.
  • You’ll demonstrate a solution focused attitude, together with being adaptable to an ever changing and very busy environment.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management is key to this role, you’ll have the ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
  • As a seasoned digital recruiter, you will have robust experience using HR tools such as SuccessFactors, Seek, LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Hiring Assistant.
  • Proven ability to source digital talent effectively through online platforms, networks and web-based channels.
