Your new team

This position sits across all the UK businesses. Our diverse, passionate employees have been creating conviviality since 2001, bringing our premium brands and unforgettable experiences to the UK. As the world’s 2nd largest spirits market, the UK is a key location for our company.

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be part of our Talent Attraction Centre of Excellence, which was created to centralise talent attraction and recruitment in a specialised team. Our mission is to attract and recruit the very best talent to support Pernod Ricard’s growth and innovation in the UK. We aim to do this by establishing and communicating a unique EVP and employer brand, creating the best experience for our candidates, facilitating diversity and doing it all in a way that is digital, innovative and best in class. We are a team of 5 people on a bold and exciting transformation journey, working closely with the wider HR team and line managers to deliver it.

Your unique contribution

You will have 3 main areas of responsibility:

Operational recruitment:  You will be responsible for partnering closely with HR Business partners to co-pilot each recruitment process. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, internally and externally including sourcing, pre-selection (application & CV screen, video interview analysis) and assessment (competency interviewing). You will advise line managers, provide actionable market insight to help shape decision making and influence the overall hiring decision for each of your vacancies.

Talent pipelining: you will be responsible for forecasting priority hiring needs by working with HR teams and the business and building talent pipelines by running compelling attraction campaigns in line with our EVP as well as by engaging prospective candidates through a relationship and CRM strategy.

Projects: you will have the opportunity to be involved in various projects, contributing to the implementation, development and excellence of our CoE, such as how we can advance our inclusive culture through recruitment, defining our Early Careers strategy, creating a recruitment culture by training the business on Talent Attraction, and creating a best-in-class candidate experience.

Who you’ll be working with

Internally, your main stakeholders will be your team members within the Talent Attraction CoE (Talent Attraction Partners, Recruitment Administrator, Head of Talent Attraction), your colleagues in the wider HR team (HR Business Partners, Reward & People Analytics CoE and Talent & Learning CoE) and line managers throughout the business.

Externally, you will interface with recruitment consultancies and other external partners and you will be the face of Pernod Ricard for our candidates, delivering a first-class experience and helping candidates understand our business and culture.

Your blend of talent

You will likely have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a global or diverse environment and if you:

  • Can demonstrate successful experience of managing a best-in-class direct recruitment process for ‘professional’ roles of all seniorities in business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance or Supply Chain. Specifically, you can demonstrate a strong understanding of your business functions’ commercial and people priorities and show how you lead a high-touch recruitment process to bring the right skills and talent into those teams.
  • Are a subject matter expert in recruiting. Specifically, you bring skilled knowledge of sourcing strategies, ideally beyond LinkedIn Recruiter, and have previously put these into place. You also have a strong understanding of the current best practices in candidate assessment and are a skilled competency interviewer.
  • Possess the right soft-skills and professional credibility which allow you to influence and lead decision-making when it comes to candidate selection. You collaborate with line managers on an equal footing and coach your stakeholders through the recruitment process to get the best outcome.
