About the Role:
In this role, you’ll manage full-cycle recruiting—from sourcing and screening to extending offers and onboarding. You’ll partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies, craft compelling job advertisements, and identify top talent across the state. This position also emphasizes community outreach, including attending career fairs, building relationships with schools and organizations, and representing DHHS at events.
You’ll succeed here if you’re a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Work Environment & Expectations
This position is onsite at a DHHS office, where you’ll engage with applicants, hiring managers, and leaders to showcase DHHS’s opportunities and culture. You’ll receive ongoing training, peer support, and opportunities to collaborate and grow within a dedicated and mission-driven HR team.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Two years of coursework or training in personnel management, business administration, public administration or office/administrative or three years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Collaborative mindset with a customer service orientation
Ability to build trust and influence outcomes effectively
