TALENT ACQUISITION PARTNER
Find the people who keep the machines β and the company β running.
Every machinist, mechanic, and field tech who keeps Cooper's natural gas compression equipment running started with an offer letter. We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who knows how to find that talent β people who understand shop floors and field service, not just resumes.
This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who's spent years hiring skilled trades and technical talent, and who's just as comfortable on the plant floor building relationships as they are running a candidate pipeline. As part of a growing, evolving HR team, you'll have real room to shape how Cooper recruits.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with hiring managers across manufacturing, shop, and field service teams to understand role requirements and workforce needs.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and hourly roles β sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
- Build strong relationships with employees and leaders to stay connected to the work, culture, and evolving talent needs.
- Develop sourcing strategies that reach skilled tradespeople, including community outreach, job fairs, trade schools, and digital platforms.
- Write job postings that accurately reflect the work and attract qualified candidates.
- Keep candidates informed and engaged from application through onboarding.
- Track recruiting activity, pipelines, and hiring metrics to support workforce planning.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues on onboarding, workforce development, and retention initiatives.
- Help improve recruiting processes as the HR function grows.
Β
WHO YOU ARE

- Experienced running full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at sourcing hard-to-reach talent across multiple channels.
- A strong communicator and relationship-builder.
- Organized enough to manage multiple open roles at once.
- Comfortable with applicant tracking systems and basic HR technology.
Β
PREFERRED
- A positive, solution-oriented mindset and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Comfortable building process in an HR function that's still evolving.
- Hands-on and approachable, with a genuine interest in the employees who keep Cooper running.
