Overview

The Talent Acquisition Partner runs a full-cycle recruitment desk, supporting the goals of the Talent Acquisition department by maintaining a high volume of candidate interaction, screening, and scheduling. As a first line candidate sourcer and screener, the individual in this role will provide creative solutions to staffing shortages and apply industry knowledge to our high-volume recruitment process.Ā

SCHEDULE:

  • This position is Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 5:30PM, with a 30-minute lunch breakĀ 
  • Full-time temporary position, contract ends 12/31/2025

WORK DESIGNATION:Ā 

  • Remote (must work within San Diego County Region)

Ā 

Responsibilities

  • High and heavy volume outbound communications to mostly warm leads (applicants)Ā 
  • Lead full cycle recruitment for a group of high-volume, entry-level positions, from posting to selection and onboardingĀ 
  • Use social media networks to look for and connect with potential candidatesĀ 
  • Interact with professionals on niche platformsĀ 
  • Review online resumes to pre-screen candidatesĀ 
  • Track candidate data on a daily basis within applicant tracking system, make suggestions to improve tracking methodsĀ 
  • Understand and capitalize on various sourcing strategies for high turnover, part time positionsĀ 
  • Research and make suggestions for new avenues of sourcing for hard to fill, high volume rolesĀ 
  • Communicate regularly with candidates and hiring managersĀ 
  • Maintain an excellent candidate experience with responsiveness and follow throughĀ 
  • Ask for referrals from internal and external networksĀ 
  • Contact past applicants for new job opportunitiesĀ 
  • Proactively source potential hires for recurring, high volume positionsĀ 
  • Provide weekly metrics for data tracking purposesĀ 
  • Develop a strong pipeline of entry level candidates and nurture candidate relationships through effective communications and attraction strategiesĀ 
  • Offer suggestions for high volume process improvement based on full cycle recruitment modelĀ Ā 
  • Proactively anticipate hiring needs for multiple departments and branches, monitor hiring decisions and track onboarding numbersĀ Ā 
  • Engage community partners and build new relationships to further Talent Acquisition goalsĀ

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree requiredĀ 
  • 3+ years' of experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment, managing a full deskĀ 
  • Experience suggesting and implementing creative sourcing strategies for high volume recruitingĀ 
  • Experience working with metrics-driven results and comfortable being held accountable for high level recruitment metricsĀ 
  • Experience developing and fostering a strong candidate pipelineĀ 
  • 5+ years' of sales or customer service experienceĀ 
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), iCIMS preferredĀ 
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency to achieve goalsĀ 
  • Strong attention to detail with minimal errors in data entryĀ 
  • Familiarity with social networks, professional sites and resume databasesĀ 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)Ā 
  • Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to handle various requisitions simultaneouslyĀ 
  • Strong collaborator and team playerĀ 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for timely completionĀ 
  • Passionate about creating great experiences for our candidates and hiring managersĀ 
  • Outside the box thinker with knowledge of unique strategies for high volume recruitment, attracting and retaining entry level candidates

PRE-HIRE CONTINGENCIES:

  • Licensing, state law and our funders require that applicants be fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and include subsequent arrest notifications Ā 
  • CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, within 30 days of hire, and must be from one of the following certifying organizations: American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety and Health Institute Ā

Pay Range

USD $22.64 - USD $27.17 /Hr.
