Join Carter Machinery’s Talent Acquisition team and help us grow by hiring top talent across our organization. We’re looking for a people-focused, experienced recruiter who thrives on building relationships, creating sourcing strategies, and delivering a strong candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, manage full-cycle recruiting, support diversity hiring initiatives, and represent Carter at career fairs and community events. This position plays a key role in helping us attract and retain top-tier talent across Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
• Proven success with sourcing tools and social media strategies
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• HR experience and background in diversity recruiting preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and attract top talent.
• Source, screen, and coordinate interviews using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Manage high-volume job postings across career sites
• Maintain candidate communication and ensure a positive experience.
• Represent Carter at career fairs, schools, and community events.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of diverse, qualified candidates.
• Support onboarding and contribute to recruiting process improvements.
• Ensure documentation and hiring practices remain compliant.
