The Talent Acquisition Partner plays a crucial role in the Human Resources team, responsible for managing the entire recruitment process. Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and upkeep of a corporate recruiting strategy to support our diverse functional and operational teams across the United States and Canada.
Collaborate with hiring managers to oversee recruitment activities, showcasing the ability to make informed decisions that enhance the overall experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Work with Management to create and maintain job descriptions for available positions.
Coordinate with hiring managers to establish the most effective recruiting process for open roles.
Recognize when a market or role requires more proactive recruiting techniques and know how to efficiently network and promote Deringer to the right audience.
Understand the significance of recruiting within diverse communities and feel confident in exploring new ways to promote Deringer to a wide range of applicants.
Serve as a liaison and collaborate with local and remote employment/staffing agencies.
Screen candidates for open positions to identify the best fit for the company.
Appreciate and effectively communicate Deringer’s unique culture to potential hires.
Skillfully market a comprehensive benefits package to candidates.
Ensure the thorough completion of background and reference checks.
Prepare job offer letters and extend both verbal and written contingent job offers in partnership with hiring managers.
Collaborate with hiring managers and the Learning and Development team to facilitate new colleague onboarding, including the initial training plan.
Deliver day-one onboarding to new colleagues, following the initial session with our technical team.
Complete necessary reporting to keep stakeholders updated on recruitment progress and key metrics.
Conduct exit interviews with departing colleagues and prepare feedback documentation.
Conduct surveys and facilitate meetings for the internal stay interview program. Evaluate the data and suggest improvements.
Hold regular feedback sessions with hiring managers to ensure that hired candidates were the right fit and adjust hiring strategies as needed based on feedback.
Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned.
Travel:
This position is remote. Our HR team gathers in person at our St. Albans, VT headquarters once every quarter, and we would prefer the selected candidate to be within a reasonable travel distance, if possible.
Education and Experience:
An associate's degree combined with three years of HR/recruiting experience, or a comparable mix of education and experience, is required. While HR certification is preferred, it is not mandatory.
