Position: Coordinator, Talent Acquisition & Onboarding - Full Time/Non-Exempt

Reports to: Manager, People Operations

Format: On-site (Glendale, AZ)

Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator plays a key role on the People Operations team, supporting high-level event catering and concessions operations. This position manages the full recruitment lifecycle and delivers seamless, high-quality candidate and new hire experience while partnering closely with department and regional leaders.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Manages full cycle recruitment process including hiring manager intake meetings, job postings, sourcing candidates, candidate screenings, scheduling interviews, candidate communication, etc.
  • Cultivates strong and productive relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and new hires to ensure an engaging onboarding process
  • Ensures regular communication with candidates and hiring managers, keeping them informed
  • Prepares candidate comparison summaries and hiring analysis
  • Supports full-time, part-time, seasonal, and event-based hiring needs
  • Tracks, audits, and reports on hiring, onboarding, and offboarding metrics weekly
  • Coordinates recruitment and outreach initiatives in partnership with the Manager and People Operations, including attending job fairs
  • Renders on-site event team member and talent check-in support and procedures, as assigned
  • Oversees new hire onboarding including offer letters, new hire paperwork, systems access, equipment requests, I-9's, E-Verify, orientation support, etc. Maintain and track employee training completion in Brainshark (LMS) including the follow up with employees and managers as needed
  • Assists with related HR initiatives, system implementations, and process improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 1-2 years of HR-related experience, of which up to 1 year must have included dedicated recruitment responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel and HRIS Systems required (UKG preferred)
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrates professionalism, sound judgement, and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Performs as a self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail required
  • Has flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for events
  • Can lift 20-30 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods (8+ hours in length)
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and noisy environments
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation
