POSITION SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manager is responsible for managing the onboarding processes for the organization within a Shared Services environment. This role is responsible for providing oversight to preboarding lifecycle, to ensure a smooth onboarding of new employees

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition and onboarding strategies aligned with the organization’s goals. Collaborate with HSC Talent Acquisition team to build a strong employer brand to attract top talent across various functions.
  • Identify and utilize innovative onboarding methods and tools to source increase employee experience. 
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the monitor ongoing experience throughout employee lifecycle. 
  • Design and manage a comprehensive onboarding program that facilitates a smooth transition for new hires. 
  • Leverage onboarding technology to streamline processes and enhance the candidate experience. 
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovations in talent acquisition and onboarding. 
  • Regularly assess and improve the onboarding process to enhance new hire engagement and retention. 
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in the onboarding process. 
  • Provide training and support to hiring managers on effective  onboarding techniques. 
  • Monitor teams’ communication with new hires to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. 
  • Utilize data analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and optimize onboarding processes. 
  • Prepare and present regular reports on onboarding activity, outcomes, and trends to AVP, Talent Acquisition. 
  • Continuously improve the onboarding process based on data-driven insights.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers and facility staff throughout the and onboarding process. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. 
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities. 
  • Regular and reliable attendance. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
     

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
  • Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards.
     

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers.

Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. Exhibit a basic understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent related experience.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years human resource experience, preference to experience in a shared service onboarding environment
