Description

We’re looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented Talent Partner to help shape how we find, engage and hire exceptional people.

This is not a standard, transactional recruiting role. It’s an opportunity to build a considered, high-quality hiring experience inside a growing, craft-led business. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and leadership to define roles, run innovative processes, and ensure every candidate interaction reflects our Ffern standards.

You’ll be responsible for the full hiring lifecycle, from early scoping conversations through to offer - bringing clarity, care and strong judgement at every stage.



Requirements

Hiring Strategy & Role Definition

  • Partner with hiring managers to scope roles 
  • Set thoughtful hiring strategies aligned to team and company priorities
  • Shape and articulate Ffern’s employer brand and value proposition

Sourcing & Talent Mapping

  • Proactively identify and engage high quality candidates across functions
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future roles
  • Conduct market mapping to understand where great talent sits
  • Strategically source, engage, nurture and qualify a diverse pool of candidates from various channels to meet strategic hiring goals

Candidate Experience

  • Run structured, transparent and well communicated hiring processes
  • Ensure every candidate has a respectful and considered experience
  • Provide clear, timely feedback at every stage

Interview Process & Assessment

  • Design and build a consistent candidate focussed interview processes
  • Coach hiring managers on interviewing, assessment and decision-making
  • Maintain high standards for evaluation and documentation

Offer Management & Closing

  • Lead offer processes with care and attention to detail
  • Support hiring managers in closing candidates thoughtfully and effectively
  • Ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding

Process Improvement & Operations

  • Continuously improve hiring processes, tools and documentation
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting across the hiring funnel
  • Help build scalable systems as the company grows

Your Profile

  • 5-7 years’ experience in Talent/Recruiting (ideally in-house)
  • Strong experience managing full-cycle hiring across multiple roles
  • Excellent judgement and ability to assess talent beyond CVs
  • Confident partnering with senior stakeholders and hiring managers
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a scale up or startup environment
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms, specifically HiBob
