DescriptionJob Purpose:
The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for finding, recruiting, hiring and retaining talented candidates. He/she will be in charge of planning, developing and implementing a new and productive Talent Acquisition strategy for the company.
Talent Acquisition Job Description:
- Plan and participate in strategic planning meetings with key business partners to understand current and upcoming requirements in order to build a plan on how to effectively recruit for positions within your area of responsibility.
- Provides guidance and direction to other recruiters and to be responsible for managing the recruiters effectiveness in meeting their performance goals.
- Increasing the quality of hire by proactively developing qualified and targeted talent pools with active and passive candidates for all business units, by making use of the variety of channels.
- Ownership of the entire recruitment process, including requisition approval, hiring manager briefing, job advertising, candidate sourcing, application review, candidate screening, interview strategy and offer process.
- Oversee the policy, process, and operations of the new hire onboarding process.
- Drive the Talent Acquisition Team excellence in delivering against key recruitment metrics
- Leverage relevant advertising resources to create awareness and attract qualified applications for key roles within your area of responsibility.
- Leverage candidate databases (internal and external) to identify prospective candidates to create awareness and invite them to apply for open positions, including cold calling prospects.
- Build and maintain candidate pools of strong candidates and new prospective candidates within the functional area that your support.
- Work alongside the organization to implement the best assessment tools.
- Conduct weekly check-ins with active candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting process for each role.
- Manage planning and gathering information for quarterly review meetings with key stakeholders that will provide an overview of recruiting achievements as well as opportunities to improve hiring performance moving forward.
- Lead any additional recruitment initiatives as needed.
Requirements- A bachelorβs Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- A professional certification is a plus (SHRM/CIPD).Β
- A Minimum of 5Β years of talent acquisition experience, which includes full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and two years of supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage change and influence hiring behavior.
- Ability to set clear goals and deliver on key objectives with minimal supervision.
- Good ability to understand business needs and assess talent against those needs..Β
