- Manage and lead full recruitment lifecycle across Harvey Beef, including job briefings, advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, pre-employment checks, preparing employment contract and onboarding coordination.
- Manage one direct report.
- Partner strategically with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand workforce requirements, define role criteria, and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure efficient and timely delivery of recruitment outcomes to support operational continuity and workforce stability.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and role physical requirements in collaboration with the WHS team to ensure compliance and operational suitability.
- Provide expert recruitment advice and guidance to hiring managers on market trends, candidate availability, interviewing techniques, and best practice selection methods.
- Prepare and present recruitment reports, analysing trends, identifying recruitment challenges, and recommending solutions to improve hiring efficiency and workforce retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all recruitment-related matters, ensuring a high level of service to stakeholders and candidates.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, internal talent pools, referrals, and targeted market engagement to attract high-quality candidates.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with organisational policies, employment legislation, labour agreements, and Department of Home Affairs requirements where applicable.
- Assist HR Manager to optimize recruitment process, maintain and update processes to ensure proactively build talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency, candidate experience, and overall talent acquisition outcomes.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting within the Applicant Tracking System (Workday), ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labour legislation, implementing required changes to keep company recruitment processes compliant.
- Mentor and support new team members to ensure understanding of recruitment processes, promote seamless operations, enhance candidate experience, and strengthen employer brand reputation.
- Set social media communication strategy for professional job profiles and functions in the organisation alongside the Harvest Road Group marketing team.
