Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Internship is one discipline of IDEMIA Public Security North America's 12-week Summer Internship Program. The intern will be an integral member of the HR team and will provide administrative support to staff. In this role, interns will have the opportunity to learn and assist in the recruitment and selection process, and you will support our team in finding top talent to meet our organization’s needs.

 

A successful candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills, the ability to juggle multiple projects at once, and is proficient in Excel.

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

  • Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job board, social media, and university career fairs.
  • Review and evaluate resumes to identify potential candidates who meet job requirements.
  • Communicate with candidates through email and phone to schedule interviews and coordinate logistics for both in-person and virtual interviews.
  • Maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking system (ATS) record, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support initiatives related to employer branding and enhancing our company presence to attract top talent.
  • Assist in preparing regular reports on recruitment activities, progress, and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of our recruitment efforts.
  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Team.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • You are a college junior, senior, or recent graduate majoring in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, Business Administration & Management, or a related field
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Strong interest in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or HR
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable and a quick learner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant, or other relevant human resources/administrative role or internship
  • Passion for innovative technologies and security/identity related issues

Note: This is a hybrid role, you must be able to travel to the office.

 

The US hourly rate for this position is $20.
