We're looking for an HR professional to focus on both talent acquisition and broader HR operations and employee engagement responsibilities. The ideal candidate will offer proactive and versatile support of a wide range of HR functions across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, and employee engagement. This role will work closely with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, manage job postings, screen candidates, and coordinate onboarding. The HR Generalist will also assist in resolving employee concerns, support performance review processes, coordinate training programs, ensure compliance with labor laws in multiple states, and help drive initiatives that foster a positive, engaged workplace. Recruitment and Staffing
Collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Manage and maintain job postings via ApplicantPro, ensuring they remain current and consistent.
Review applications promptly and communicate with urgency.
Conduct applicant screenings, ask job-specific questions, and record notes for next-level interviews.
Ensure all in-person candidates complete pre-employment applications before executive interviews.
Support the full hiring lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Employee Relations
Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related concerns.
Promote a positive workplace culture and assist in resolving employee issues.
Partner with the HR Manager to handle more complex employee relations and investigations.
Redirect payroll-related inquiries as needed.
Performance Management
Support performance reviews by helping train managers and employees on best practices.
Assist with developing performance improvement plans and coaching efforts.
Ensure job descriptions and compensation data are reviewed during appraisal cycles.
Training and Development
Identify training needs and help coordinate learning and development programs.
Collaborate with department heads to improve employee growth opportunities.
Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR regulations in Utah, Nevada, and other operating states.
Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures effectively across the organization.
Employee Engagement
Contribute to company initiatives that foster employee engagement and improve retention.
Share internal updates and materials using HR systems such as Namely.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of HR generalist or related experience (preferred).
Familiarity with HRIS systems and recruiting platforms like ApplicantPro or similar.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn the inner workings of the business.
