Talent Acquisition Coordinator
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
VIVA Pediatrics seeks empathetic, passionate professionals with a heart for helping children and serving others! The ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist will have excellent communication and organizational skills, tangible experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments and with the Executive Team.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit for front-line and office positions
- Actively recruit and meet individual recruiting goals as set by executive team
- Consult with leadership, hiring managers, and human resources team to post requisitions, and develop compensation and sourcing strategies
- Coordinate with branch managers and Staffing Coordinators to assess staffing needs
- Facilitate end to end selection process including resume reviews, phone screens, and skill assessments
- Coordinate and participate in virtual and/or face-to-face interviews
- Arrange pre-employment testing, background checks & references screenings
- Perform orientations and assist with onboarding as needed
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
- Source potential candidates through online company career portals, recruitment sites, job boards, social platforms, as well as print media, posters, and flyers, when required
- Create and disperse offer letters to new hires
- Manage applicant tracking system, provide comprehensive reports to leadership, and perform other staffing administration functions as needed
- Plan and coordinate recruiting staff contests in alignment with current staffing needs
- Organize, manage, and track recruiting contest results. Collect and verify bonus forms and turns in to payroll
- Develop effective recruiting strategies that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Continuously evaluate recruiting strategies and monitor new technology, resources and industry trends
- Ensure proper training and use of applicant tracking system for all hiring team members providing re-education as needed
- Travel to sites to provide on-site recruiting training as needed.
- Works closely with Managers and Clinical Supervisors to coordinate recruiting opportunities at targeted medical and educational facilities – facilitating educational opportunities to engage future nursing and therapy candidates
- Maintains database of nursing and therapy schools, search firms, and professional associations
- Generate and analyzes reports using data from HMS, HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems to quantify results and develop recommendations for most effective use of recruiting funds and human resources.
- Maintains high-level of confidentiality with client and staff protected/personal information
- Coordinates recruiting mass communications – emails, mail, texting, etc.
- Performs other duties as required
COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of full cycle recruiting experience (sourcing, scheduling, interviewing, recruitment marketing, pipeline management, offer letters)
- At least one year experience with applicant tracking systems
- Home Health Care experience required. Pediatric Home Health experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting.
- Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures and a solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to work independently with little to no supervision
- Able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
- 20% Travel required, with occasional overnights
