Column Technical Services is seeking an exceptional Talent Acquisition Coordinator ideally with campus recruitment or law firm experience to join a prestigious global law firm in Washington, D.C. In this role, you'll help drive key initiatives across Talent Acquisition and Attorney Development, contributing a smooth, and impactful attorney lifecycle experience. This role is a hybrid position - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home so applicants must live in the Washington DC area and be able to commute to the office.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition
  • Manage interview logistics, coordinate follow‑up communication, and provide support for hiring committee preparation.
  • Contribute to candidate outreach and engagement efforts.
  • Oversee components of the firm's recruiting initiatives, including campus hiring and summer associate programs.
  • Facilitate summer associate assignments, training activities, and social programming.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling for new hire orientation.
  • Track and maintain local recruiting budget activity.
 
Talent Development
  • Organize local associate relations events and internal attorney training sessions.
  • Collaborate with global Talent Development colleagues to roll out firmwide initiatives such as coaching programs and training academies.
  • Monitor budgets related to Associate Relations and Professional Development.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in special events, which may occasionally require evening or weekend availability.
  • Travel as needed to support programs and firm initiatives.
  • Provide assistance with additional related projects as assigned.
 
Required Skills & Proficiencies
  • Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating training programs and events.
  • Foundational understanding of campus recruiting or legal recruiting processes.
 


Qualifications
*             Bachelor's degree required.
*             Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional service or legal environment.
*             At least 2 years of experience in human resources, law school career services, attorney recruiting, and/or attorney development (preferred).
