Summary of Position Functions
Kickstart your career in recruiting with Milhaus! We are hiring for potential, not just experience (0-1 years). The Talent Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our recruitment function to help attract and bring top talent to #TeamMilhaus. This role involves full-cycle recruitment while ensuring smooth, positive candidate experiences. In addition, this position will partner to support the coordination of future learning and development programming and other HR-related efforts. Ideal candidate is an excellent multi-tasker and strong communicator who is eager to learn the industry.
Essential Position Functions
Talent Acquisition
• Maintaining and updating candidates in applicant tracking system, including updating and posting job requisitions
• Screening applicants and recommending candidates for further consideration
• Coordinating interview schedules for HR and hiring managers
• Proactively sourcing candidates for current or future staffing needs
• Manage the talent inbox
• Providing support with recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, social media postings, etc.)
• Representing and promoting the Milhaus brand at hiring events, career fairs and other
Learning & Development
• Partner with leadership on organizing and planning potential learning and development offerings.
• Manages and researches required employee designations and makes sure that we stay compliant as individuals and/or a company with these required training or educational requirements (i.e. OSHA, Fair Housing, etc.)
• Oversees delivery of training by reserving and setting up needed audiovisual equipment and training rooms; scheduling training times with attendees; preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks associated with the training objective.

Education and Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of Milhaus’s services and processes is required which can be obtained through intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge.
• Knowledge (Intermediate to advanced) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.), is required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time / workload.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, business, professional, and technical documents.
• Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and staff.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to write presentations, articles, routine reports, proposals, and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and staff.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively before customers and staff.
