Some of what you will do:
As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support to our high performing Talent Acquisition team. You will play a key role in enhancing both our candidate and client experience while ensuring a high degree of operational excellence and execution. You will also help in the sourcing and screening of high quality candidates for both our Retail and Corporate functions while promoting Staples as an employer of choice. Specifically, You Will:
•   Support in executing day-to-day Talent Acquisition strategies to further drive the team’s operational excellence across compliance and system utilization
•   Screen job requisition to assess applicant’s suitability and book interviews accordingly
•   Assist in making recommendations for process improvement to further drive results and solutions across the Talent Acquisition enterprise
•   Participate in career fairs and information sessions to further build awareness surrounding Staples opportunities
•   Track and report talent acquisition activities for all required metrics
•   Respond to external inquiries regarding job opportunities at Staples
•   Administer and maintain network referral program
Some of what you need:
•   Minimum of 1-2 years of years previous recruitment experience preferred
•   Minimum of 1-2 years of previous talent acquisition/HR (or related field) coordination supportÂ
•   Previous experience in retail with talent acquisition is a definite asset
•   University Degree/Post-secondary education required or related experience preferred
•   Certificate/Degree in Human Resources Management completed or in progressÂ
•   Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems. Experience in using Taleo is a definite asset.
•   Knowledge of Internet sourcing methods and PeopleSoft (HRIS) is an asset
•   Effective use of business systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
•   Ability to handle multiple job requisitions simultaneously and balancing numerous priorities within a fast-paced environment
•   Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
•   Ability to influence and provide feedback to hiring Managers
