The role

  • Full Time, Fixed Term (up to 12 months)
  • Level 6 - $92,025 to $99,538 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Fixed term or secondment opportunity
  • Appointment to be made to current campus location

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will partner with hiring managers across the University to deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes and an exceptional candidate experience. You will provide expert advice on attraction and design and implement sourcing, assessment and selection strategies, while managing end-to-end recruitment activities for a diverse portfolio of academic and professional roles. The position plays a key role in supporting workforce needs, enhancing recruitment practices, and ensuring hiring processes are efficient, compliant and aligned with the University's strategic objectives.

You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects that strengthen the University's ability to attract, engage and secure top-tier talent.

About you

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, human resources or a related field.
  • Understands best-practice attraction, selection and assessment methodologies.
  • Demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Has knowledge of Australian employment legislation relevant to recruitment.
  • Is comfortable working with applicant tracking systems and HR information systems.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building strong working relationships.
