Who Should Apply

MACU is a seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our human resources department. The Talent Acquisition & People Growth Specialist is responsible for identifying and onboarding top talent while also supporting employee growth, career pathways, and internal development initiatives. This role helps ensure the organization builds a strong workforce today and prepares employees for future leadership and skill needs.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Partners with hiring managers to define role-specific qualifications, identify critical skill gaps, and train leaders on effective interviewing techniques to assess candidate competencies.
  • Coordinate and manage the full onboarding lifecycle, from requisition to offer acceptance. Ensure a positive candidate experience and timely communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Development and implementation of career pathways and internal advancement strategy. Maintain accurate employee development records.
  • Coordinate employee development initiatives, including mentoring, leadership programs, and training opportunities. Promote continuous learning and career progression across the organization.
  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, candidate flow) and recommend improvements.

 

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Experience - Two to five years of experience in talent acquisition, employee development or HR.
  • Education - A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
  • A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required.
  • Strong interviewing, relationship-building, clear and consistent communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with accurate data-tracking and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage the applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Commitment to supporting employee growth and enhanced hiring practices.
