Additionally, the role demands strong relationship management skills to collaborate with hiring managers, administrative leadership, HR teams, and various MDOT offices to drive recruitment strategies and support workforce planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for a high volume of vacancies across multiple departments.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified and diverse candidate pools.
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide strategic recruitment guidance.
Track and manage vacancies to ensure alignment with hiring timelines and organizational priorities.
Utilize applicant tracking systems and data tools to monitor recruitment metrics and improve processes.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and status updates for leadership on hiring activity and outcomes.
Coordinate and facilitate interviews, candidate communications, and selection processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience: Three (3) years of professional HR work in the areas of either job analysis, job evaluation, salary administration, employee recruitment and selection, employment services and benefits, employer-employee relations, HR program evaluation, or HR policy formulation. One (1) year of this experience must have included job application screening and sourcing candidates using NeoGov or other applicant tracking software.

Notes:
1. Thirty graduate semester credits from a college or university in the fields of HR administration, business administration, public administration, statistics, tests and measurements, or psychology may be substituted for one year of experience.
2. Paraprofessional HR experience or professional HR management work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.
3. Candidates may substitute equivalent U.S. Armed Forces military service experience on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.
