TALENT ACQUISITION ADVISOR

Recognized for your attention to detail and organizational skills, you contribute to understanding client needs, identifying, engaging, and selecting high-quality candidates, while ensuring a professional experience for both candidates and clients.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator within the Consulting team, you play a key role in supporting the delivery of recruitment mandates for a diverse client base. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you actively contribute to the various stages of the recruitment cycle, from candidate sourcing through post-hire follow-up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment Mandate Support

  • Participate in the recruitment cycle for assigned mandates.
  • Contribute to gathering information regarding client needs and the realities of the position to be filled.
  • Assist in defining target profiles, key competencies, and assessment criteria.
  • Maintain rigorous follow-up on the progress of recruitment mandates and proactively communicate with the team and clients.
  • Keep recruitment timelines up to date and flag any issues or delays to the project lead.

Candidate Research and Sourcing

  • Draft and post job advertisements based on recruitment needs.
  • Effectively use the firm’s recruitment platforms, databases, and technological tools.
  • Identify relevant talent pools, professional networks, and recruitment sources.
  • Participate in sourcing and outreach activities based on target profiles and provided guidelines.
  • Maintain a network of qualified candidates within the industries served by the firm.

Candidate Prescreening and Assessment Support

  • Review and prescreen both inbound and sourced candidates.
  • Conduct telephone or virtual prescreening interviews.
  • Assess candidates’ core competencies, availability, and level of interest.
  • Prepare interview summaries for clients.
  • Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates.
  • Coordinate reference checks and other required verifications.

Candidate Support and Client Coordination

  • Ensure a professional and positive first point of contact with candidates.
  • Prepare candidates for the various stages of the selection process.
  • Facilitate communication between candidates and clients throughout the process.
  • Provide consistent follow-up and ensure a high-quality experience for both candidates and clients.

Information Management

  • Ensure accurate and rigorous management of candidate, client, and recruitment mandate data within internal systems.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date records.
  • Document sourcing activities and candidate outreach in a structured manner.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and personal information protection standards.
  • Produce recruitment activity statistics or reports, as required.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant university degree, with a bachelor’s degree as a minimum requirement.
  • Education or recruitment experience in accounting and/or finance is considered an asset.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or an HR administrative support role; recruitment agency experience is considered an asset.
  • Good knowledge of candidate research and sourcing techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology, sourcing platforms, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, due to frequent collaboration with English-speaking teams or clients across Canada .
