Our organization is growing, and we have an opportunity for a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to support this growth by joining our team!  This role will focus on hiring top talent into the Company by working with hiring managers to detail job requirements and skills, develop a recruiting strategy, and sourcing and screening candidates.  This position may assist in on-boarding of new employees and supporting the HR function in a generalist capacity with an understanding our core benefits plans, and talent management programs. This role can be performed remotely. Minneapolis/St. Paul Greater Metro Area Candidates ONLY)

The salary target for this role is $85-95k. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.

We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data. When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance, and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers. Primary Job Functions

Talent acquisition – full life cycle recruiting; source, interview and work with hiring managers to hire qualified employees that meet role requirements and the WEG culture (75%)

  • Manages the talent acquisition process for non-exempt and exempt staff

  • Prepares and posts job ads for recruiting boards

  • Actively sources and screens candidates for job fit

  • Assists with interview scheduled

  • Works with management on legal aspects of hiring / interviewing; creates interviews

  • Works with management to determine and extend employment offers

 Job Description Management

  • Works with managers to write job descriptions that accurately reflect the position

  • Updates existing job descriptions as roles evolve

  • Applies consistent job description functions to similar roles in the company

  • Aligns job descriptions to market compensation and updates internal compensation grid

Education/Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field

  • 7 + years’ experience in an HR role; full life cycle recruiting experience required, must be able to source talent; screen candidates

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR legal aspects; recruiting techniques

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization

  • Detail oriented, highly organized

  • Experience with job boards, applicant tracking systems and HRIS systems

  • Experience with Workday preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite

  • Financial Services experience strongly preferred
