Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Superintendent - Québec, you will be part of the Human Resources Department. You will play a key role in recruiting the best talent for our Canadian divisions by employing proactive sourcing strategies and resources, developing new, creative recruiting ideas as well as being part of a dynamic and supportive recruitment team. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, supporting departments in their hiring needs for hourly and salaried positions and ensuring the hiring process standards are followed for all candidates;

  • Follow the recruitment screening process to identify the best potential candidates;

  • Recruit, source and present qualified candidates to the hiring managers;

  • Liaise with candidates and hiring managers during all stages of the recruitment process;

  • Lead interviews by using the targeted selection method interviewing system;

  • Ensure a smooth transition from the selection process to pre-employment verifications to the onboarding stage of new employees;

  • Ensure proper follow-ups with stakeholders throughout the recruitment process;

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, etc.;

  • Represent the company and participate in career fairs as required.

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule\: 5/2 schedule (Monday to Friday), possibility of a 5-2-4-3 schedule; a combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC.

  •  Frequent visits to site will be required.
