Are you a strategic talent acquisition leader with a passion for building high-performing teams? Do you thrive on shaping company culture through impactful hiring? Nuovo Artistic Photography is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to scale our hiring engine and support our ambitious growth.

At Nuovo, we're dedicated to empowering individuals through self-love and inspiration. As our Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll be instrumental in attracting top talent who embody our values and drive our mission forward. You'll lead the charge in creating an efficient and proactive recruitment function that directly shapes the team driving Nuovo's success.

What You'll Be Doing:

As our Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll own the full recruitment lifecycle, from strategy to execution, with a strong focus on efficiency and positive candidate experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Recruitment Leadership: Translate Nuovo's business needs and growth targets into clear, actionable recruitment strategies and lead the execution of our overall hiring plan.
  • Process Optimization & Standardization: Design, implement, and continuously improve our hiring processes, ensuring a structured methodology that enhances the quality of hires, reduces time-to-fill, and drives cost efficiency.
  • Hands-On Recruiting & Partnership: Actively manage a portion of open roles, providing hands-on recruiting expertise and partnering closely with department managers to ensure a seamless, high-quality, and cost-effective hiring experience.
  • Team Coaching & Development: Provide direction, constructive feedback, and day-to-day support to foster a thriving recruitment team, ensuring they deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Talent Program Evolution: Oversee and evolve key talent programs, including campus recruitment, employee referral initiatives, interviewer certification, and employer branding efforts, always seeking ways to optimize spend and impact.
  • Budget Management & Cost Efficiency:
    • Collaborate with finance and leadership to align recruitment spending with company financial goals, forecasting hiring needs, and proactively managing the recruitment budget.
    • Develop accurate Cost-Per-Hire (CPH) estimates and identify areas for efficiency, differentiating between fixed and variable costs.
    • Strategically optimize recruitment channels, negotiate favorable terms with vendors (e.g., job boards, agencies), and champion cost-effective sourcing methods like internal referrals and talent pipeline development.
    • Manage annual budgets of hiring costs, team of recruiters, platforms, etc.
    • Identify and implement strategies to reduce recruitment-related expenses while maintaining a high quality of hire.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Own our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring process compliance, and leveraging data and insights to guide hiring strategy, inform workforce planning, measure team performance, and report on key KPIs (e.g., CPH, time-to-fill, source-of-hire).
  • Enhancing Employee Experience: Contribute to the design and implementation of talent management initiatives, including onboarding and offboarding, to ensure a positive employee journey from day one, impacting retention and future recruitment.
  • Promoting DEI: Implement and manage strategies to shape a diverse and inclusive culture throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, aligned with Nuovo's values.

Requirements

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:

  • Experience: 5+ years in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing and developing a recruitment team.
  • Process Improvement: A proven track record of building or significantly improving recruiting processes that enhanced structure, consistency, and the quality of hires.
  • Strategic & Detail-Oriented: The ability to think strategically about big-picture priorities while executing with meticulous care and thorough follow-through on day-to-day tasks.
  • ATS Proficiency: Comfort and expertise in owning an ATS, using it effectively to drive process compliance, generate insightful reports, and enhance team performance.
  • Coaching Prowess: A genuine passion for coaching and developing team members, demonstrated by your investment in their growth and professional development.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication skills that allow you to engage, influence, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
