The Opportunity

We are seeking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our Corporate Human Resources team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a recruitment portfolio with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing for senior leadership and niche roles. You will primarily act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on executive searches, hiring managers and HRBPs through regular biweekly check-ins and monthly governance meetings, ensuring visibility on recruitment activities, challenges and progress. This role will also partner with regional leadership teams to support hiring across multiple sites and geographies, balancing local market dynamics with enterprise talent strategies.

You will leverage innovative sourcing techniques, build strong talent pipelines for current and future needs across manufacturing and primarily with expertise within Pulp & Paper to promote a culture of continuous recruitment across AP Group footprint. This role also contributes to employer branding initiatives and various talent acquisition projects, joining a team currently undergoing transformation in processes and technology.

What You’ll Do

  •  Full Cycle Recruiting: Support regional and multi-site hiring initiatives across AP Group. Own requisitions end-to-end, with a core focus on executive and senior leadership roles (Director+) and additional complex and critical searches within operations (typically hard-to-fill positions or roles with elevated business risk).
  •  Sourcing and Network Building: Develop regional talent networks and pipelines aligned to geographic workforce needs, site-specific skill requirements and succession planning priorities. Proactively source and engage executive and senior talent through outbound outreach, referrals, networks and targeted market mapping. Build and maintain long-term relationships with leadership level talent, even outside of immediate hiring needs.
  •  Executive Sourcing: Develop deep pipelines of senior and executive level talent through market intelligence, competitive mapping, and long-term relationship cultivation. Maintain a warm bench of future fit leaders aligned to succession and strategic workforce planning needs.
  •  Employer Branding: Represent and amplify the company’s employer value proposition through all candidate touchpoints. Localize employer branding messaging to reflect regional culture and site-specific value propositions within AP Group. Partner with HR/Communications to strengthen brand visibility for niche, senior, and hard-to-fill roles.
  •  Early Talent / NextGen Attraction: Support the development and enhancement of early career programs (internships, coops, rotational programs) aligned to regional workforce planning needs to build long-term leadership pipelines. Identify high potential emerging talent and maintain relationships that support future workforce needs.
  •  Hiring Manager & Senior Leader Partnership: Partner closely with leadership on sensitive, high stakes, or confidential searches and act as a trusted advisor by shaping role definitions, success profiles, and hiring strategies. Calibrate expectations, provide clear market perspective, and influence decision-making with confidence.
  •  Funnel Ownership: Track and improve interview velocity, passthrough rates, and time-to-fill for each role you own, with a focus on executive and senior hires.
  •  Candidate Experience: Deliver a high touch, white glove candidate experience for executive searches, while ensuring all candidates receive timely, professional, and human-centered engagement.
  •  AI Enabled Recruiting: Leverage existing and emerging AI tools for sourcing, screening, scheduling, and reporting to improve efficiency, quality, and predictability.
  •  Data, Reporting & Insights: Provide regional hiring insights to HRBPs and leadership, highlight market constraints, hiring velocity. Own weekly reporting for your roles, translating funnel data and qualitative insights into clear actions and recommendations. Surface risks, trade-offs and decision points early, particularly for executive searches.
  •  Coaching & Mentorship: Provide guidance and share best practices with fellow Talent Acquisition partners, helping strengthen sourcing capability, consistency and collaboration across the team.

What you'll bring:

  • You bring 6+ years of recruiting experience in high-growth environments, with end-to-end ownership of executive and senior-level searches preferably with in-house and/or agency experience.
  • You are equally effective recruiting executives and operating hands-on across other critical roles when needed.
  • You are thoughtful about prioritization to balance regional hiring demands based on operational needs and conditions.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability environments where priorities shift and impact matters.
  • You are data-informed and outcome-oriented, using metrics and judgment to guide decisions.
  • You communicate with clarity and authority, earning trust with senior stakeholders.
  • You are confident sourcing, pitching and closing senior talent.
  • You care deeply about candidate experience, quality of hire, and long-term success.
  • Promote employer brand by showcasing APG culture, values and strengths.
  • Contribute to TA projects and continuous optimization of recruitment processes.
  • Support talent pipeline development for early talent and niche roles for APG.
