About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead full-cycle recruiting at a pivotal time in our company’s growth as we work to build and launch the first non-profit cloud. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in recruitment and employer branding to source, interview, and hire exceptional and diverse talent. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build effective recruitment strategies. Additionally, you will be a key partner in ensuring a positive candidate experience and contributing to the overall growth of our business. By joining our team, you'll directly contribute to our mission of empowering and amplifying non-profits around the world.

Location

This is a fully remote position! We are hiring in Canada and require the successful applicant to work Mountain (MST) or Pacific (PST). We can support Remote Candidates in the following Canadian provinces: British Columbia, Ontario, and Alberta.

What will you be doing?

Here’s what this role looks like day-in, day-out for this role:

  • Employer Branding: Act as an ambassador for the company, promoting the culture and values of “ARK” (Aplos, Raisely, and Keela) during all stages of the hiring process. Develop and implement strategies to support and highlight our employer brand.
  • Hiring Strategies: Refine our “ARK” hiring strategies and processes to streamline operations and provide clarity to leaders on the hiring workflow.
  • Talent Sourcing: Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify high-quality and diverse candidates for open roles. Utilize various channels including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and assess candidates’ qualifications and alignment with our vision and mission.
  • Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
  • Job Postings: Write and post clear, concise, and engaging job descriptions on job boards and social media platforms to attract top talent. Support with job descriptions or scorecard updates for internal changes (transfers and promotions).
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing regular updates and a positive candidate experience.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and job requirements, and help define ideal candidate profiles.
  • Offer Management: Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate salary, and manage the hiring process through to the onboarding stage.
  • Recruitment Metrics and Reporting: Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all hiring practices are compliant with local, state, and federal or country regulations, as well as company policies. Keep our team up to date on compliance changes and best practices related to recruiting for all locations we are hiring in (pay transparency, hiring laws, unconscious bias, etc.) and conduct necessary training from time to time.
