Job Title: HR & Talent Acquisition Manager

Summary/Objective
The HR & Talent Acquisition Manager serves as the primary HR point of contact for assigned brands and
branches across all regions. This role is responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including employee
relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and data management. The manager also leads talent
acquisition strategies across the company and ensures consistent execution of HR processes in coordination
with the broader HR team and VP of HR.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead and oversee talent acquisition strategies, workforce planning, and onboarding processes.
Support company-wide initiatives for organizational improvement, performance optimization, and
culture alignment.
Represent employee perspectives in leadership discussions to foster a positive and inclusive
workplace.
Drive continuous improvement across HR programs and systems in alignment with business goals.
HR Operations & Compliance
Oversee HRIS and payroll administration to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
(e.g., new hires, terminations, pay changes).
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, wage and hour regulations, and
internal policies.
Manage audits and regulatory reporting, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
Lead or support compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, and DEI
policies.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Provide guidance and support to leaders on employee relations, disciplinary matters, compensation,
and benefits.
Maintain strong internal communication channels and foster a culture of transparency, feedback, and
accountability.
Support and enhance employee engagement through relationship-building, conflict resolution, and
workplace improvements.
Training & Development
Assess training and development needs; design and implement programs for leadership and staff
development.
Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee performance, engagement, and retention
strategies.
Systems & Process Improvement
Maintain and enhance HRIS and timekeeping systems for data integrity and operational efficiency.
Recommend and implement system/process enhancements related to payroll, compliance, and
employee self-service platforms.
Partner with safety and operations teams to support and reinforce compliance with workplace safety
programs.
Required Skills & Abilities
Technical & Compliance Expertise
Deep knowledge of payroll systems, labor laws, compliance regulations, and HRIS platforms (e.g.,
ADP WFN).
Strong command of employment law, compensation practices, and leave administration (FMLA,
Workers’ Comp).
Leadership & Communication
Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to delegate, influence, and build cross-
functional relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to represent HR across all organizational
levels.
Organizational & Analytical Strength
Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making abilities.
High attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Technology Proficiency
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with integrated HR/payroll systems and continuous process improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of progressive experience in HR and recruiting, preferably in a multi-site or regional role.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now and recruitment platforms required.
Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and talent acquisition best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed.
