Job Responsibilities

35% Talent Acquisition: Serve as the primary recruiter for entry level roles within assigned business line(s) & provide recruitment support to other business lines & non-entry level roles as needed. Source candidates, conduct prescreens, and reference checks. Prepare offers under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Lead & HR leadership. Prepare & oversee pre-employment screening processes and escalate any areas of concern to the Talent Acquisition Lead & HR leadership. Participate in job fairs & hiring events & serve as primary lead when needed. Ensure HRIS & other pertinent trackers remain up-to-date throughout recruiting process.

35% Leave Management: Maintain expert, up-to-date knowledge in all stated/federal leaves (PSL, FMLA/PFL, etc.) as well as all Club policies/programs related to leaves. Oversee day-to-day leave management administration under the direction of HR leadership. Continuous review of current process/workflows to determine inefficiencies, redundancies, & opportunities to streamline. Provide HR leadership with detailed metrics & recommendations based on leave data and trends. Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for the Clubโ€™s leave management system, including system configuration support, case tracking, reporting, and user guidance.

10% Administrative: Maintain confidential associate files, personnel files, driver files, I-9โ€™s and benefit files. Create new hire electronic files & ensure all required paperwork and documents are included. Compile and mail out separation packets & provide support with collection of Club-issued assets. Complete employment verification and unemployment claim inquiries. Assist with maintenance of badge system access, replacement of lost/misplaced badges, & creation of new hire badges. Review HRADMIN inbox and ensure all emails are addressed and/or escalated as necessary. Continuous review of current process/workflows to determine inefficiencies, redundancies, & opportunities to streamline.

10% Onboarding, Offboarding, & Engagement: Responsible for the administration, communication, & delivery of the Associate Recognition Program. Collaborate with HRBP(s) & Learning and Development Consultant(s) to conduct onboarding meetings for assigned business line(s) and support non-assigned lines as needed. Schedule & conduct exit interviews for assigned business lines, and share feedback/concerns with HRBP(s) and HR leadership. Rotate and deliver new hire orientation presentation as needed.

5% Compliance: Serve as primary administrator for Driver Qualification file creation & maintenance including; drug/alcohol test results, physical results/clearance, safety incidents, LENs notifications/abstracts, and other required items. Responsible for the tracking, recording, & administration of the Clubs' drug/alcohol testing pool & driver physicals. Act as primary administrator for LENs monitoring, ensure addition of new drivers/removal of separated drivers, and communication to HRBP(s) & HR Leadership of any notices. Stay current in all pertinent compliance areas such as leave management, talent acquisition, & DQFs; and share updates with HR leadership & peers to ensure the Club remains compliant. Recommend best practices and audit requirements to ensure Club is in compliance.

5% HRIS: Responsible for all data entry in HRIS for assigned business line(s) & provide support to non-assigned business lines as needed. Ensure change forms submitted are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and ticket status is kept up-to-date. Collaborate with HRBP(s) & HR Specialist(s) to respond to Associate inquiries related to HRIS login issues. Support future module integrations and document new processes.

Job Specific Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, shifting deadlines, and time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally, and to collaborate effectively with Associates, managers, & HR leadership.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and HCM/HRIS platforms (UKG Pro/Ready and AbsenceSoft preferred).
  • Experience working with external vendors or service providers, including escalating issues and ensuring service-level expectations are met.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive and compliance-related information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to identify and implement operational efficiencies in work processes, system processes, etc.
  • Periodic travel within Club territory required
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, and/or other relevant certifications a plus
  • Equivalent education and/or certifications will be considered in lieu of experience
  • Equivalent experience and/or certifications will be considered in lieu of degree

Physical Requirements

*Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
*Ability to perform all physical functions consistent with travel including sitting in airplanes and driving for long periods of time
*Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 30 lbs

Starting Range: $26/hr - $30.69/hr
