Summary
This is an exciting time to join PLOS! We are currently seeking an experienced full time temporary Global Talent Acquisition Partner to assist in staffing our growing organization the next six months. We need someone who loves finding top talent, prioritizing the candidate experience and supporting Hiring Managers.
This person will conduct all full cycle recruitment activities and be tasked with hiring exceptional talent to the organization. You will report to the Senior Global Talent Acquisition Manager and will work as part of the greater People and Culture team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Global Talent Acquisition Manager to meet overall hiring targets/KPIs
- Conduct initial screenings of resumes, assess candidate fit, and conduct phone and in-person interviews.
- Develop creative methods for sourcing candidates to identify diverse, top-level talent by utilizing methods such as: LinkedIn Recruiter, internet research, social media, networking, direct sourcing, employee referrals, advertisements, career events, etc.
- Act and as an organizational brand ambassador for external candidates.
- Schedule interviews, conducting debrief sessions, and present job offers to selected candidates.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to develop and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Provide guidance to Hiring Managers on recruiting best practices, market trends, and sourcing strategies.
- Maintain solid industry awareness and market intelligence in terms of hiring trends, competitive landscape, compensation trends and recruitment challenges.
- Work with outside vendors (recruiters and agency relationships) as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with outside networks.
- Improve Talent Acquisition practices and processes, leveraging information systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Own metrics such as Time to Hire, Time to Fill, source of hire, etc.
- Maintain regular reporting on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines and recruiting metrics.
- Maintain records and files and ensure compliance with global, federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience and effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired, or equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years of recruitment experience; at least 2 years in-house preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with ATS systems required
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter required
- Experience in proactive sourcing required
- Experience with Greenhouse or another related ATS highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working in a global organization is a plus
- Demonstrated experience working within the publishing sector is a plus
- Able and willing to travel several times a year as needed

The base hourly rate we’ve established for this position is (US) $40.87- $48.08. PLOS also offers a comprehensive benefits package summarized below.
