Quandela is seeking a senior Freelance Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help us attract and retain top talent in the quantum technology sector.

As a Freelance Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting Quandela’s hiring strategy during a period of strong growth.

Working closely with leadership and hiring managers, you will focus primarily on international Go-to-Market hires and support functions, while also contributing to engineering recruitment and improving our Talent Acquisition processes.

This position requires strong sourcing capabilities, international recruitment experience, and the ability to leverage modern tools (including AI) to optimize candidate sourcing and interview processes.

The role is designed as a part-time freelance engagement (3 days per week).

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment delivery

Manage end-to-end recruitment for key roles including:

Go-to-Market roles ( Sales, Business Development, Pre-Sales / Solutions Engineers or Architects, Marketing, Communication), Support functions (Legal, Finance, Operations, ...) You may also contribute to hiring for technical roles, such as QA, Project Management.

Sourcing and candidate pipeline development

  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to identify international talent
  • Leverage modern sourcing tools and AI-based solutions to optimize candidate identification
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for key roles
  • Conduct screening interviews and coordinate hiring processes

Talent acquisition process improvement

Contribute to structuring and improving Quandela’s recruitment processes, including:

  • Designing role scorecards
  • Benchmarking and improving the ATS and recruitment tools
  • Implementing structured interview practices
  • Training hiring managers on interview techniques and evaluation

Reporting and market intelligence

  • Maintain clear recruitment metrics and reporting
  • Monitor hiring market trends in deeptech, quantum, and international tech talent markets
  • Provide insights to leadership on hiring strategy and candidate availability


Requirements

Profile

We are looking for an experienced recruiter who is comfortable working in fast-growing technology environments and hiring internationally.

Required experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally in deeptech, and startup environments
  • Proven experience recruiting international Go-to-Market profiles
  • Strong sourcing expertise, including LinkedIn and modern sourcing tools
  • Experience using AI tools to improve sourcing, screening, and interview reporting
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus)
  • Ability to work autonomously as a freelance partner

Strong advantages

  • Experience recruiting engineering profiles (software, DevOps, QA, etc.)
  • Experience helping structure Talent Acquisition processes in scale-ups
  • Familiarity with ATS selection and implementation
  • Experience training hiring managers on structured interview
